The tea contains dried fruits of anise, fennel and caraway, which on the one hand are known for their antispasmodic effects and on the other hand can traditionally be used during breastfeeding because of their properties that promote milk secretion. The dried fenugreek seeds can also support milk production in breastfeeding women. The composition is rounded off by the addition of lemon verbena, which has a calming and harmonizing effect and gives the Weleda nursing tea a pleasantly mild taste.
